Saturday, Sept. 5, 2015 – Awards! and more

It was a big award day today. GoKarma said he received something like 22 out of 24 awards available to him. Crazy.

Awards given out recently:

Awards that are scheduled to be distributed tomorrow:

• TK all colors! We finally have news about an award. After teasing about it earlier in the day TK devotees are getting 2 awards, both TKs: TK-045 and 046. The first is if you have the Series 2 set which includes TK-015 through TK-044, not including TK-021 which was an award card previously given. The second awards will be given to those who possess TK-001 through TK-044, also not including TK-021. It’s like we had our own mini-marathon

And Monday is the deadline to have all the Force Awakens – Premiere cards for the awards card dubbed Heroes. This morning, only available through the Smuggler’s Den, you could receive an alternate award card dubbed Villains. In order to receive the award you had to forfeit one set of the Premiere cards. About 300 of you did that today. I thought about it for a second but I couldn’t bring myself to do it.

In addition, Monument Chase Awards, Storyboard Gold Cards and Awards, Space Painting Gold Cards and Awards, and Pictogram Gold Cards are coming soon.

Now on to the releases for today…

This weeks’ Widevision called “A New Mission” is from the end scene in ESB. Where siblings and droids look out into the galaxy.

A new pack that was introduced today is another TFA set called First Order: Helmets. If the rest of the set is anything like the first insert, it will be sort of a pictogram style drawing of what I imagine will be helmets. The first one belongs to a snowtrooper.

A new Pictogram dropped today. This one is “Cloud City” that describes the main players and events that happened at Bespin in ESB. Not much movement in this set. With only the first two insert parallels completely selling out. We’ll be seeing these in the next AT-AT/Star Destroyer Pack I’m sure.

Next is a second Leia in Street Art Series 2. I call this one is sassy Leia.  She’s the 9th insert in Series 2 so far so we should be seeing this one come to a close soon. You should start closing ranks on this one.

The next Rebels: Defined character is Zeb which I did manage to catch this time, and with a good trade I’m caught up again, thank you very much. This is the 5th card in the series of 7 to collect before the award.

And finally, another Leia card today, this time the Blue parallel of Leia as Boushh Classic Art. Only 857 pulled. The rarest of the series so far. Could this Leia be the Leia of the Series 1?
