Friday, Oct. 2, 2015 Recap

Today, we had another Topps: Classic release. This time it was Chewie. The value of the blue variant is very high even though it is 7700 count and 1:7 odds. They trade very well and make excellent trade fodder.

There was also a Connections release today. Darth Sidious / Yoda. I think this is one of those connections that aren’t very… connected. 2500 printed and 1:50 odds.

The blue variant of the Luke Skywalker Classic Art 2 released today as well. 1:30 odds.

Another Illustrated card was dropped today and it looks epic. But this whole limited thing is very confusing. Good luck if you are chasing!

We had another Yavin IV drop today too: “A Disagreement Among Friends”. The Yavin IV set has done nothing but impress me so far and I hope that continues. Fingers crossed for medal ceremony award!

There was one of those stupid AT-AT combo master packs again.

And another Modernograhy: “AT-AT”. I am regretting not chasing modernograohy now…

We had another 5 cards from the ESB Illustrated set drop. The art on these is amazing!

And last but not least, we had the first SD monument. I think Topps completely ruined monuments. There is no count limit and you don’t even get your name on the back. Wasn’t that the whole point of monuments? Seriously Topps! The border isn’t even the same as the original monuments. Nice screw-up Topps.
