Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2015 Recap – We’re back! Princess Leia Classic Art 2 Wave 2, New Factions – Resistance vs First Order, Luminaries AT-AT, TFA Schematics Kylo Ren’s Command Shuttle, Jabba’s Palace – Jabba the Hut, Crimson Greedo, Del Rey Books – Tarkin, Naboo Starfighter Schmatic and Build, Teal Tuesday is Back

I apologize for the extended break from the recaps, I think I’ll be changing things up moving forward. Checklists remained mostly up to date though. There’ll be a separate post about NYCC. Now onto the recap

Classic Art 2 Wave 2: We’re still getting 3 drops a day which is a mixed blessing. It’s nice that this set is finally moving a long, but a lack of credits is always an issue and there’s no time to recover in between drops. With the daily 25k Factions drop it became necessary to purchase a credit bundle. The card count for Gold Princess Leia end up being the lowest so far at just under 300.

Resistance vs First Order: This set has an interesting mechanic. Drop 25k to buy a pack to get 2 guaranteed cards: one in the pack and another the following day. Today’s card is Rey & Finn. 9 more days to go.

Luminaries 2:  Today’s card is the AT-AT. Still no word on requirements for the Smuggler’s Den variants. I’m hoping the recipes are favorable for me. The Purple Boba Fett variant is my lowest count card not including Black TKs.

TFA Schematics: Kylo Ren’s Command Shuttle. They changed up the SD Red variant by making the requirement to shred 3x Kylo Ren Resistance vs First Order cards. At least it’s 100% chance of converting. I’m glad I already have that card because it might become hard to find when it comes down to award time.

Jabba’s Palace: Jabba the Hut insert. Still waiting for Sunset cards to be given out. I wonder what the thinking is on waiting to give out the bonus cards. People have paid for them, they were promised the next day. Hopefully, there is plenty of time to trade for people trying to collect Sunset variant sets.

Crimson variant: Greedo. Yesterday’s Darth Sidious came away with over 77k pulls. That’s the best indication of # of accounts in the game (including everyone’s alts).

Del Rey Books: Tarkin. I really like this set. One because the art is unique (within the card trader game). Two, it’s easy to keep track of. No pesky parallels and Master Pack Access to worry about. Now hopefully, it’s not a super long set. Other sets that were like this: Reflections, Classic Art Series 1.

SD Schematic: Naboo Starfighter. Nothing crazy about this one. Pretty straight forward requirements. Does require 2 Gold base for the Green variant build.
