Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2015 Recap
Journey to Star Wars: The Force Awakens – Day 12: Green variants released today: #21 – The dreaded Darth Vader; #52 – Lessons through failure; #57 – Cloud City showdown; #61 – Vader’s inspection; #78 – Anakin revailed; & #96 – Master of evil.
There was also a new Pink variant of JTTFA released today. Each has a card count of 10 and can be purchased in the 1 of 10 Pink Journey to the Force Awakens Cards + 50,000 Credits bundle. I’m starting to wonder if there are that many players that would pay for these. It would cost almost $5,500 to purchase 109 cards using the bundle and then still have to trade your dupes to try and collect the set. It’ll be interesting to see what people will trade to get one of these cards, for instance I don’t think you could trade two Pink JTTFA cards for a Neon. I also think most people getting these will just try and get cards with their favorite characters rather than the entire set, but I don’t know, I supposed if I had the money I might try to complete the set.
Digital Watercolors: C-3PO & R2-D2.
Teal Wednesday: A day late, I can totally relate. 🙂 This week’s Teal variants: Geonosian Soldier, General Grievous, Yoda (Jedi Council), Satine Kryze, and Obi-Wan Kenobi (Jedi Master). The Award card for collecting all 5 in 48 hours is R2-D2 (Jedi Assist).
Navy Base Variant: The award for collecting all 7 of last week’s Crimson variant is Plo Koon.
Crimson Base Variant: A new week begins: Figrin D’an.
Spectrum/Black Base Variant: C-3PO (Tatooine Moisture Farm).
