Weekend Edition Nov. 7-8 Recap

A busy weekend for once and just my luck happens to be the same weekend Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 comes out. Sorry for the delay.

Digital Watercolors: New set! I’m liking new art we’re getting. It reminds me of the Art of the Rebellion (the variants are B&W, sepia and color) but with new art (to SWCT). The first card is Han Solo and Chewbacca. The color variant definitely looks the best and despite rash of recent sub 50 and  5 count cards at 250 it is still very collectible in my book.

Journey to Star Wars: The Force Awakens – Day 8: Green Variants #35 – Across the chasm, #73 – The Skywalker twins, #87 – Kylo Ren, dark warrior, and #98 Resilient survivor.

Golden Fan’s Choice: The Fans have voted. Round 1 goes to Admiral Ackbar. Round 2 starts today with a new batch of blank Golden Choice cards.

Signature Series: A Gold Zeb Orrelios Signature variant card is available today. Available only with Master Access.

Crimson Base Variant: Sly Moore seems there was some mix up with these ending early or staying around too long. Not sure. I saw message they had disappeared and came back. I got mine whenever they dropped so I didn’t experience any issues.

Spectrum/Black Base Variant: Tauntuan.

Space Paintings Series 2: The Chasm.

Smuggler’s Den Monument: Both Boba Fetts variants. I’ve started calling the version from Episode V: ESB version 1 and the publicity photo looking one version 2. Shred 5500 white base variants to get your name on the back of the Monument card.

Card Trader Illustrated: Master vs Master. I haven’t been able to find the artist source of this one. Anyone know?

Pink Base Variant: Boba Fett.

Smuggler’s Den Schematic: Gold Zam Wesell’s Speeder. Only 7 out of 9 total were made. Look like getting this one was pretty onerous.
